William (Bill) Richard Wilson passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 67 in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, due to complications from diabetes. He was born on May 29, 1958, in East Chicago, Indiana and relocated to Pennsylvania in his early 20s.

Bill grew up in a lively household with his late parents, William Robert Wilson and Ruth Zobel Wilson and 6 siblings. He is survived by all 6 siblings - Robert Wilson, Bonnie (Gary) Hodgdon-Otto, John (Lisa) Wilson, Charles (Becky) Wilson, Nancy (Steve) Kopaczewski, and Jacqueline (Tom)  O'Connor. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He  will be missed by his close friends Maureen Freeze, Ashley Christacopulos and Taylor Freeze. He was loved by his family and friends, and they have fond memories that will be treasured forever.

A graduate of Villanova University, Bill earned his degree in Business Administration. Besides working in the field of finance, Bill served as a personal caretaker for his parents, William and Ruth, during their later years.

An avid chess player, Bill was known for his strategic thinking and ability to foresee his opponent's moves. His love for model trains was instilled in him by his father. It was a passion that allowed him to connect with his siblings and develop intricate track designs. Bill's interest in politics kept him engaged in spirited discussions, always ready to analyze the latest policies with keen insight. He was also a talented, non-professional chef and was known for his excellent Caesar salad and steak preparation.

Bill had a quick wit and often quoted dialog from television shows which made his family laugh.  Bill will be missed by many, but we look forward to a time when we will be reunited forever.  We do not mourn as those who have no hope. 1 Thessalonians 4:13 Be blessed in the presence of our Savior Jesus, Bill. A memorial service will be held to honor Bill on Saturday, May 30th at 10:30 AM central time at Naperville Cemetery - 705 S. Washington St. Naperville, IL 60540.
