With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of Maria Alcira Rodriguez Roman, a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, loyal friend, and a radiant soul.  Maria Alcira left this world on September 9, 2025, surrounded by the love she so generously gave throughout her life.

Born in Macara, Loja, Ecuador, Maria Alcira was the eldest of six siblings and the guiding light of her family from the very beginning. She raised her two children with unwavering love and fierce protection.

Maria Alcira is survived by her children, Ana and Annsue, her grandchildren, Zavion, Cristian, Kayden, and Keeana –who knew her as “Abuelita,” the one who made every birthday special, every meal a celebration, and every hug feel like home.

God bless you always, Maria Alcira. Your spirit lives on in every heart you touched.
