Leah Anne Cappella Obituary

Leah Anne Cappella, a beacon of thoughtfulness, creativity, and generosity, departed this world on July 21, 2024, at the age of 63. Born in Staten Island, New York, on July 11, 1961, Leah was the cherished daughter of Michael J. and Barbara Ann (nee Quinn) Hubbard. She carried the spirit of her beloved city in her heart as she made her way through life's journey, eventually finding her place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she would spend her final moments surrounded by love.

Leah's life was a testament to her unwavering commitment to her artistic passions, and her boundless generosity. Leah's creative spirit was evident in every aspect of her life, from her vibrant paintings to the handcrafted gifts she lovingly created. Her artistic vision was a reflection of her deep emotional sensitivity and her ability to see beauty in the world around her. She had a rare gift for making art accessible and enjoyable for everyone around her, turning ordinary moments into extraordinary memories.

Leah's creativity was not just a personal trait but a guiding force in her life. She believed in the power of artistic expression to heal, inspire, and connect people. Friends and family alike could always find solace in her creations, each piece a reflection of her love and understanding.

Generosity was as natural to Leah as breathing. She was always the first to lend a hand or offer a listening ear, her support infused with the same warmth and kindness that characterized her artwork. Her presence in the community will be sorely missed, and her absence will be felt by the many lives she touched.

As we bid farewell to Leah Anne Cappella, we celebrate a life lived with intention, love, and an enduring creative spirit. Leah's spirit, like her artistic legacy, is indelible—a beautiful imprint on the canvas of life that will continue to inspire and comfort us all.

Surviving are her children, Steven Carl Chamberlain, Christine Marie Cappella, Frederick John Chamberlain and 6 grandchildren, John Crane, Cheyannne Frame, Annalise Frame, Julianna Frame, Jason Frame Jr.,  and Bryan Nanni.

Also surviving are three sisters, Tracy Smith, Ruth Bardsley and Donna Schulteis.

Leah is predeceased by her son, Jeffrey Chamberlain and her brother, Michael Hubbard.

Leah's life will be honored in a private ceremony and burial beside her son, Jeffrey Chamberlain, as per her wishes on Sunday, August 25th, 2024 from 12 to 3pm at St. Mark's Cemetery 1025 Radcliffe Street Bristol, Pennsylvania 19007 . Her family takes solace in the knowledge that her spirit is now free, her artistic legacy endures through her children, grandchildren, and the countless lives she touched with her extraordinary soul.
