Kevin Richard Blouch Obituary

Kevin Richard Blouch, 60, of Milford, Delaware, passed away on July 10, 2026. Born on May 28, 1966, in Reading, Pennsylvania, Kevin lived a life marked by adventure, determination, humor, and a deep appreciation for the people and experiences that made life meaningful.

Kevin graduated from Muhlenberg High School in May 1984. Following graduation, he became a partner in Blouch's Fishing Tackle Shop in Temple, Pennsylvania, where he combined his entrepreneurial spirit with his lifelong passion for fishing. After moving to Delaware, Kevin worked as a mate on several fishing boats in the Lewes area, embracing a way of life centered around the ocean he loved so much.

The Delaware beaches and the Atlantic Ocean were among Kevin's favorite places. Whether he was fishing, boating, walking along the shore, or simply enjoying the sights and sounds of the coast, he found peace and happiness near the water.

Later in life, Kevin turned his eye for hidden treasures into a successful venture buying and selling antiques and collectibles in the Milford area. He had a natural talent for sales and an uncanny ability to spot value where others might not. Smart, resourceful, and endlessly curious, Kevin could strike up a conversation with anyone. He had a gift for storytelling, often captivating family, friends, and even strangers with his colorful tales, humor, and unique perspective on life.

Kevin loved fishing, music, cooking, exploring yard sales, hunting for antiques, and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles. He was an animal lover who enjoyed the companionship of his pets and found joy in caring for them. He was also a firm believer in the Law of Attraction and embraced a positive outlook that encouraged him to seek opportunities, follow his passions, and live life on his own terms.

A lifelong dream of Kevin's was to write a book. He loved sharing stories and experiences, and those who knew him best often encouraged him to put them on paper. While that dream remained unfinished, the stories he shared throughout his life will continue to be remembered by those fortunate enough to have heard them firsthand.

Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Suzanne DeHaven; his father, Charles Blouch; and his stepfather, Jack DeHaven.

He is survived by his sons, Kody Blouch and Dennis Bosley; his sister, Lisa Edwards; his twin brother, Keith Blouch; extended family members and friends; and even his two goldfish, who outlived him.

Kevin's life was a reminder to enjoy the journey, appreciate family and friendships, find joy in simple pleasures, and never stop searching for the next great treasure—whether at a yard sale, on the ocean, or in life itself. His quick wit, spirit, and unforgettable stories will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Though Kevin is gone, the memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

"Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed, and forever dear."
