Cynthia Nash was born Cynthia Blair Gilliam on November 6, 1959 in Philadelphia, PA. She grew up in Southwest Philadelphia and resided in her family home on Chester Ave. She attended West Catholic High School For Girls and graduated June 1977. After graduating high school, she enlisted in the US Army to serve her country. After her service, she returned to Philadelphia to start her family. Cynthia went on to have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls. Throughout her life struggles, Cynthia remained family oriented and had a love like no other for her children. Cynthia rededicated her life to Christ, later in life. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and meeting with her fellow Veterans at the local Vet Center for different events.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Gloria Becoat, and her youngest daughter, Starsha Winchester. She is survived by her oldest daughter Chequana Brown (Winchester), her sons Chandel Winchester and Marcus Nash, son-in-law Curtis Brown, daughter-in-law Kammie Winchester, bonus daughter Sheerita Reynolds, granddaughters Zhanai, Zamira, Zabria, Zariya, Zyan, Tyjae and Yuri, grandsons Zafique, Tyir, Hendrix, Za'ier and Juwan, and great-granddaughter Addison. She is also survived by sisters Heather, Paulette, Rosiland, Ernestine, Tracey and Lisa, and brothers Dallas and Raye. She leaves behind her beloved animals which include an adored puppy and 3 cats and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
