In Loving Memory of Ardell Robert Felder

Today we gather to cherish and celebrate the life of Ardell Robert Felder, a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend.

Ardell was born on February 23, 1961, in West Philadelphia to his loving mother, Dolores Felder. He attended Andrew Hamilton Elementary School and, after completing his education, found joy working alongside his brother, George, repairing cars.

In 1999, Ardell met the love of his life, Marin Elizabeth Dzikowski Felder. Together they built a beautiful life and were blessed with five children: Romeo, Romellow, Jazzie, Nevaeh, and Heaven.

Ardell was known for his kind and generous spirit. He had a heart that was always open to others, often putting the needs of family, friends, and neighbors before his own. Whether buying ice cream for children in the neighborhood, taking out trash for others, or mowing someone else’s lawn just to lend a hand, Ardell found joy in giving. He was truly the sweetest soul—someone whose presence brought warmth and laughter to everyone around him.

He now joins in eternal rest his beloved sister Ethel Felder, his dear friend Tony Henry, and his cherished grandmother.

Ardell leaves behind a lasting legacy of love and family. He is survived by his ten children: Romeo Felder, Carolyn Brown, Jazzie Felder, Nevaeh Felder, Ikea Felder, Eric Lewis, Ardell McDuffy, Heaven Felder, Romellow Felder and others dear to his heart; his siblings: Leah, Alica, Ethel, David, George, ; nine grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Ardell’s memory will continue to live on in the lives of those he touched, and his love will never be forgotten.
